for these mods i was following the tips section of the manual and in contact with Mr. Bareille who was very helpful. the main improvement for me was in the functioning of the cutoff frequency pot.
my board is rev2A, my manual is 2.b
cutoff:
R8 220k
Cutoff pot 50k
wire the side of the Cutoff pot that goes to ground to -15V instead.
