with most delay pedals, the depth or mix control at max will only give a wet/dry mix of 50/50, suitable for guitar but for use with a mixer's aux send, a DELAY ONLY output is preferred, as seen on many rack delay units. so anyway, i love this pedal but wanted the output to be delay only instead of a mix. this mod accomplishes that. i found a schematic for the SAD-1 online (here, thank you diyguitarist.com) which seems to be nearly identical to the SAD-3. de-solder the 47k resistors as shown in the photo. i heat-shrinked them together. could alternatively put a switch between both the resistor's ends and one of the holes they came from to turn the mod on and off. these resistors mix the input signal from an early stage of the circuit with the stereo outputs.
